Home Sculpture Project - Blog Post #1

This week I started looking for materials and figuring out how to apply them for my home sculpture project. I wanted to use donated/recycled textiles, so I started looking around my house for scraps I could use. I found a large roll of white fleecy fabric, as well as large pieces of green fabrics. I think that these will work, but I wasn’t able to get the green fabrics to stay when I hung them up because they’re thick and heavy. I might still be able to use them as a base. I still want to get fabrics that aren’t as heavy and ones in different colors, like red and orange. I’m going to keep brainstorming this weekend to refine my idea and how I’m going to execute it, and then I’ll start looking for more materials.
