My last career post included some universities with good Art History programs, but I wanted to look into liberal arts schools outside of Virginia. Williams College in Massachusetts has two art history programs - Art History and Art History and Studio - as well as an art museum. However, the acceptance rate is very low. Oberlin College's Art History progam focuses on studying art from many regions, and Barnard College in New York City provides many opportunities because of its location.
